Not Fulfilling My Godly Mandate Is My Greatest Fear – Minstrel Awusi

Emerging gospel sensation, Urban planner, songwriter and singer Awusi in a conversation with Nana Asare Stephen on 360 connect has said her greatest fear as a gospel minstrel is not fulfilling her purpose.

She stated, “When God gives you a divine mandate, gift or talent and you are not vigorously pursuing it, it has a way of eating you up. I lived with this fear until 2021 when I gave my calling the needed focus and attention. Before then I used to wonder what would happen if I died (today) without fulfilling my purpose, what would I say to God? Thank God I am now walking the walk I should have been walking a long time ago.

“There is still so much to do. But I know God will provide the resources required to back His Word and His Work in my life. He has not given me the spirit of fear, so I know my fears have been cast out.”

Awusi who is currently out with her first work titled “Strength from Above”, indicated she chose the gospel career path because it brings her comfort and safety.

The young vibrant minstrel who grew up at Burma Camp in Accra with a Masters Degree in Urban Ecological Planning believes in having the coaching of veteran gospel minstrels in building a great spiritual and musical career path.
