National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Samuel Ofosu Ampofo has called on the delegates of the party to retain him since he is a loyal and trusted person.
Speaking in an interview at the Ashanti regional headquarters of the party when he took his campaign to the region, he described himself as a “results-oriented leader and a unifier” which the party needs ahead of the 2024 general elections.
While promising to galvanise all progressive forces within the party to win the election in 2024 and form the next government, he said his campaign has been “very exciting.”
He explained that despite his mother’s demise, he has managed to stay focused on the campaign and visited all the regions, the Ashanti region being the last to visit.
While expressing hope that delegates will not let him down and vote massively for him, he was excited about the massive welcome he received in the Ashanti region.
Mr Ampofo also touted his achievements saying since he became National Chairman of the party, the NPP has been choking on their achievements.
