Accra: Presidential Staffer Nana Yaa Jantuah has issued a response to Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin following his alleged comment referring to her as a 'nobody' during the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) recent demonstration. Nana Yaa Jantuah, who was responsible for receiving the petition on behalf of the Presidency at the Flagstaff House's forecourt, expressed her disappointment in a video shared on X and noted by GhanaWeb on August 7, 2026.

She stated, "I assure you that this petition is going to get to the President and this is democracy at work.
