Accra:New revelations have surfaced regarding the marriage between Ghanaian fashion icon Nana Akua Addo and her estranged husband, Harold Duodu Norman. This follows the circulation of videos and photographs allegedly depicting a physical assault incident involving the couple.
According to Ghana Web, Nana Akua Addo filed a divorce petition against her husband in April 2026, months prior to the recent online circulation of the alleged assault videos. The petition, filed through her lawyers on April 20, 2026, includes several demands.
Nana Akua Addo is reportedly demanding GHS10 million, the couple's matrimonial home, an additional three-bedroom house at Nmai Dzorn, and three apartments near Galaxy International School. Additionally, she seeks a Toyota Prado, a 2022 G-Wagon, and 40% shares in her husband's businesses.
Reports also indicate that apart from the divorce proceedings, three separate criminal cases related to alleged assaults are currently pending in court. Lawyers representing Nana Akua Addo claim they have substantial evidence to prove the breakdown of the marriage.
The details of the divorce case became public after videos and photographs allegedly showing Nana Akua Addo being assaulted were widely shared online. The fashion icon clarified that the footage was leaked without her consent and has requested the media to stop circulating the content, especially as it shows minors' faces.
Meanwhile, lawyers for Harold Duodu Norman have denied the assault allegations, asserting that the injuries depicted in the footage occurred about five years ago during an altercation in which Nana Akua Addo allegedly attempted to stab him.
