Famed Ghanaian hip-life singer Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, widely known as Mzbel, has predicted the outcome of the upcoming FIFA World Cup tournament.
She said Messi, captain for the Argentine National Team, will lead his side to lift the world’s biggest football trophy.
As he always does, the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner scored and made an assist in his side’s clash with Croatia in the semi-finals, which gave them a final bid.
Reacting to it via a tweet, the “Asibolanga” hitmaker subtly wrote, “Messi will lead Argentina to win the World Cup.”
After an eventful tournament, Argentina and France will meet in the 2022 World Cup final at Lusail Iconic Stadium in Qatar, where they will face off as the tournament’s most consistent performers.
This will be the fourth final in five with one or both teams involved, and a team that lost a group game will win the tournament for the first time since Spain in 2010.
Messi is looking forward to cementing his record of winning all the biggest trophies in the world after failing out in the 2014 World Cup final against Germany in Brazil.
The game is also a battle between two PSG football kingpins, Lionel Messi and Kilian Mbappe, who are both leading the top-scorers chart with five goals each.
