Wubah, a Ghanaian microbiologist and academic university administrator, made history as the 15th President of Millersville University in Pennsylvania, USA, on April 18, 2019. His remarkable journey from Ghana to the United States is a testament to his dedication to education and leadership.
According to Ghana Web, Dr. Wubah's academic journey began at Accra Academy Senior High School in Ghana, after which he graduated from the University of Cape Coast with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Botany and a Diploma in Education. His pursuit of academic excellence continued in the United States, where he earned a Master of Science in Biology from the University of Akron and a PhD in Botany from the University of Georgia.
Dr. Wubah's career seamlessly combines scientific scholarship with academic leadership, positioning him at the intersection of research, education, and institutional development. Beyond his role in academia, he holds a traditional leadership position in Ghana, known as Nana Ofosu Peko III, Safohene of the Breman Traditional Area in the Central Region.
