Accra: A man is grappling with feelings of confusion and emotional distress following a complex situation involving a loan and his girlfriend. He finds himself questioning whether his feelings of betrayal are justified or if he is responsible for the predicament.
According to Ghana Web, the man initially sought a loan of GHS30,000 from another individual. However, the lender stipulated that the money would only be given if the man’s girlfriend agreed to sleep with him. Surprisingly, the man accepted this condition without informing his girlfriend of the arrangement.
The man then asked his girlfriend to approach the lender for the loan, withholding the condition that had been set. When she contacted the lender, he reiterated the same condition. She later returned with the money, claiming that the loan was agreed upon, without disclosing the true nature of the deal to her boyfriend.
The girlfriend arranged to meet the lender, fulfilled his condition, and secured the GHS30,000, believing it to be a loan that needed to be repaid by November. The man, aware of the entire arrangement, was informed by the lender that the money was not a loan after all, as the lender decided to give the money outright after sleeping with the girlfriend.
Despite the lender not requesting repayment, the girlfriend persistently reminds the man of the supposed loan repayment. The man suspects her intentions, thinking she wants the repayment to keep the money for herself. This situation has led to a shift in his feelings toward her, as trust issues emerge.
The man is torn between feeling betrayed by her actions and questioning his right to feel that way, given his initial agreement to the arrangement. He is contemplating whether to end the relationship, fearing that revealing his prior knowledge could lead to its demise.
