Gomoa mpota: The late founder and leader of the Kristo Asafo Mission, Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, will be laid to rest today as family members, sympathisers, and well-wishers gather at the funeral grounds at Gomoa Mpota in the Central Region to pay their final respects.
According to Ghana Web, large crowds of mourners have been arriving at the venue, as captured by their team on the ground. The funeral is continuing despite a 10-day interim injunction issued by an Accra High Court. The injunction was meant to restrain former Dome-Kwabenya MP Sarah Adwoa Safo from proceeding with the funeral and burial arrangements of her father, Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka.
The legal dispute has not deterred the family and other attendees from proceeding with the ceremony to honor the life and legacy of the late Apostle. Mourners have gathered in significant numbers, underscoring the impact and influence the late leader had on many individuals and communities.
