Accra Renowned International Evangelist, Dr. Lawrence Tetteh, has rallied Ghanaians to accept to work together to bring progress.
This comes as the nation marks 61 years of political independence.
He indicated that for Ghana to make strong strides in socio-economic development, the people needed to be united
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Accra, he urged everybody to put the nation ahead of partisan political interest and considerations.
“It is very important for Ghanaians to be as selfless as possible in whichever way they find themselves and in which ever sphere of life they find themselves. From the Presidency to the cleaners, we all have a responsibility,” he stated.
Dr. Tetteh, who is the Founding President of the Worldwide Miracle Outreach, counselled against the blame game and said the focus should on pulling together to fight poverty and other indignities.
He encouraged the youth to put premium on education, saying, that was the way forward to a better future.
“Poverty is eradicated through education, sickness can be eradicated through education and a lot of unnecessary wrangling and conflicts can also be eradicated through education.”
He reminded all to rededicate themselves to God and to pursue godly living, noting that, righteousness exalt a nation and when godly people rule, the nation rejoice”.
He saluted the leadership of the political parties and said I am hoping that the coming years will see good tidings for our nation.
