Kurt Okraku Rewards Black Stars Goalkeeper Benjamin Asare with $38,000 Car

Prampram: Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku has announced that Black Stars goalkeeper Benjamin Asare will receive a brand-new vehicle valued at $38,000 after being adjudged the best local player in the national team. The announcement was made during the 32nd Ordinary Session of the GFA Congress currently ongoing at Prampram.

According to Ghana Web, the vehicle, supplied by TAC Motors, is intended to reward Asare's performances and inspire players in the domestic league to strive for greater achievements. Kurt Okraku expressed his excitement about the reward, stating, "Benjamin Asare, I'm sure he's listening, a brand-new vehicle, valued at $38,000. I have seen the vehicle, I was in the showroom, I tested it, and you love it."

The GFA president further emphasized that the gesture demonstrates the association's commitment to recognizing outstanding performances by players who excel at the domestic level. He noted that such rewards encourage all players in the domestic league to aspire to greater heights, assuring them that their efforts would be recognized by the association.

In addition to the recognition of individual achievements, Kurt Okraku described Ghana's national teams as a work in progress. He stressed that while they celebrate encouraging achievements, the GFA also acknowledges the challenges ahead and remains focused on building competitiveness within the teams.
