Accra- The Black Queens of Ghana suffered 3-2 defeat at the hands of their Zambian counterparts in their international friendly at the Nkoloma Stadium on Saturday, in Zambia.
Racheal Kundananji scored three goals in second half, as the Black Queens were left stunned after Portia Boakye and Elizabeth Addo scored in the first half of the game and they seemed to be on the path to victory.
The Black Queens started the game on a good note controlling affairs in the opening minutes and deservedly went ahead in 21st minutes after superb finish by Boakye.
Addo, doubled the lead for the Black Queens ten minutes later, as the game went into recess.
The Black Queens seem to be in cruise control after recess, and then emerged the ruthless Zambia attacker Kundananji, who scored two quick goals to restore parity for the Zambians.
Kundananji won the game for Zambia with a superb strike in 87th minute, as the Black Queens were left shocked.
Ghana would engage South Africa next week as they prepare for the 2018 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations to be hosted in Ghana from November 12 – Dec. 1, 2018
