Kojo Bamba Clarifies Absence from NPP Leadership Meeting

Sanaa:Kojo Bamba, the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) First Vice Chairman-elect, has addressed his absence from the party's first leadership meeting following the election of its new national leadership.

According to Ghana Web, Kojo Bamba explained in a social media video that he had other commitments that required his attention at the time of the meeting, which was held with Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. He stated that he had informed the party's leadership of his prior engagement and received permission to miss the meeting.

Kojo Bamba emphasized that there is no discord between him and the newly elected leaders of the NPP, despite rumors circulating online. He assured that his absence was solely due to scheduling conflicts and not any underlying issues with the party's leadership.

Furthermore, Bamba refuted claims of a rift with the party's Second Vice Chairman, Henry Nana Boakye, known as Nana B. He clarified that he and Nana B have been colleagues for a decade without any disagreements. He mentioned that they had temporarily parted ways to focus on their respective campaigns but maintained contact after the delegate conference, indicating a continued positive relationship.
