ACCRA, King Mohammed VI of Morocco has arrived in Ghana for a three-day State visit aimed at deepening relations between Ghana and the Kingdom of Morocco.
His visit is expected to present Ghana and Morocco with opportunities to define new areas of co-operation for mutual interest.
He was met on arrival at Accra’s Kotoka International Airport Thursday by Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia and Foreign Affairs Minister Shirley Ayorkor Botchway.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will hold bilateral talks with King Mohammed VI on Friday, after which officials from the two countries will sign a Memorandum of Understanding.
The President will then host King Mohammed VI to an official lunch at his office at Flagstaff House here.
King Mohammed will depart for Morocco on Saturday.
