Accra: Reverend Martin Amenaki, Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ketu North, has extended warm greetings and appreciation to workers across the municipality in commemoration of this year's May Day celebration.
According to Ghana News Agency, Rev. Amenaki commended the hardworking men and women of Ketu North for their dedication, resilience, and commitment to duty, describing their contributions as vital to the growth and development of the municipality. He paid tribute to farmers, teachers, nurses, doctors, traders, assembly staff, security personnel, artisans, public servants, and private sector workers for their invaluable roles in sustaining the local economy and strengthening communities.
Rev. Amenaki stated that the continuous sacrifices and efforts of workers remained the driving force behind the progress of Ketu North and the broader national development agenda. He acknowledged their resilience, discipline, and commitment to duty, emphasizing how these qualities drive the municipality's progress and expressing pride and appreciation for their efforts.
He reaffirmed the commitment of the Ketu North Municipal Assembly to creating an enabling environment that promotes decent work, skills development, and sustainable livelihoods for all. Rev. Amenaki noted that the Assembly remains focused on implementing initiatives that would expand economic opportunities, support enterprise growth, and improve working conditions across the Municipality.
In addition, he highlighted that the Assembly would continue to prioritize programs and policies that empower workers, enhance productivity, and promote inclusive development. The MCE urged workers to remain committed to excellence, patriotism, and service while working collectively towards the advancement of the municipality.
He called for sustained collaboration among all sectors to build a productive, inclusive, and forward-looking Ketu North, where every worker is valued and empowered to thrive.
