Ellembelle: Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), former President John Dramani Mahama, has praised the Member of Parliament for Ellembelle, Mr. Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, as an ‘invaluable asset to the people of Ellembelle, Nzema Land, the NDC party and Ghana as a whole.’
According to Ghana News Agency, the former President, who is campaigning for the upcoming December 7 election, highlighted his previous collaborations with Mr. Armah-Kofi Buah during his tenure as Vice-President and President. He emphasized Mr. Armah-Kofi Buah’s contributions and value, which he experienced firsthand.
Mr. Mahama made these remarks at a rally in Kamgbunli, a part of his three-day campaign tour in the Western Region aimed at garnering support for the NDC ahead of the elections. He reminisced about Mr. Armah-Kofi Buah’s efficient performance as Deputy Minister for Energy under the John Evans Atta Mills-Mahama administration, which led to his subsequent appointment as Minister for Energy and Petroleum in Mahama
‘s first presidential term.
The former President underscored the significant role Mr. Armah-Kofi Buah has played as both MP and Minister, praising his dedication to the people of Ellembelle, Nzema Land, the NDC, and Ghana. He reaffirmed Mr. Armah-Kofi Buah’s position as a top choice for a cabinet minister role due to his integrity and hard work.
Mr. Mahama urged the electorate in Ellembelle to support Mr. Armah-Kofi Buah by voting to retain him in Parliament and to vote for him, Mahama, in the presidential elections. He expressed confidence in the impact these leadership roles would have on the community and the nation.
In response, Mr. Armah-Kofi Buah expressed gratitude to the people of Ellembelle, the NDC, and former President Mahama for entrusting him with the opportunity to serve. He reiterated his commitment to advancing the development of Ellembelle, Nzema Land, the Western Region, and Ghana as a whole.
Mr. Armah-Kofi Buah also conveyed optimism about their chances in the forthcoming Parliamentary
