The running mate to the 2020 flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Prof Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, has congratulated the newly elected national officers of the NDC.
She has called on them to work hard and get former president John Dramani Mahama elected in 2024.
The former running mate in a tweet said: “I wish to congratulate everyone who stepped forward as a candidate in our national elections.
“I congratulate the winners while I wish to remind those who didn’t make it that the party needs them for the battle ahead: there’s always another time for the internal contest.”
She further extended her appreciation to the entire planning committee headed by Alex Segbefia.
