Accra: Ghanaian manufacturer Interplast Ltd has been ranked 49th in Africa's Fastest-Growing Companies 2026, the annual ranking published by the Financial Times and Statista. The company was ranked 70th on the same list in 2025 and is recognised for the second consecutive year.
According to Ghana Web, Interplast, headquartered in Accra, manufactures plastic pipe systems and building solutions for customers in Ghana and across Africa. Their products are used in water distribution, sanitation, agriculture, mining, irrigation, telecoms, construction, energy, and civil engineering applications-sectors central to the continent's infrastructure development.
The company's Chairman described the recognition as a milestone that belongs to the broader Ghanaian manufacturing community. He stated that the recognition is a proud moment for Interplast and reflects a long-term commitment to industry, people, quality, and customer trust.
Managing Director Hayssam Fakhry attributed the improvement to deliberate, multi-year investment in capability rather than short-term factors. He emphasized that rising from 70th in 2025 to 49th in 2026 demonstrates growth as a result of investment in quality, technology, and regional partnerships.
Chief Financial Officer Abdallah Bashoun noted the achievement reflects disciplined growth, operational resilience, and the strength of Interplast's long-term strategy. He highlighted the confidence placed in the company by customers, suppliers, financial partners, and stakeholders across Africa.
Chief Operating Officer Sivnesh Kumar RE remarked that the company's growth is built on execution. He praised the hard work of production, technical, quality, logistics, sales, and support teams in every product manufactured and project supported.
