Kumasi: Ghanaian actress Vivian Jill has recounted the birthday preparations she made with her late sister before her sudden demise. In an Instagram post shared on September 11, 2026, the actress, who is celebrating her birthday today, shared how heavy her heart is, noting that her day has been filled with sadness following the loss of her sister.
According to Ghana Web, Vivian Jill has decided not to celebrate her birthday this year due to the loss of her sister, Mabel Adwoa Intuah, who passed away at the age of 50. The actress explained that she had made all her birthday preparations with her late sister; however, following her sudden demise, there would be no photoshoot or celebration.
Vivian Jill expressed that her heart is heavy on her birthday, stating, "The person I was planning my birthday with is no longer here, and instead of preparing for my birthday, I am preparing for her funeral." She further noted that all she wishes for as a birthday present is for her loved ones to pray for her during her time of grief.
The actress also appealed for prayers for the gentle soul of her late sister, emphasizing, "I don't want any gift. All I plead for is that when you go on your knees to pray, pray for me as well and also ask God to keep my late sister's soul." Vivian Jill concluded by inviting sympathisers to join her on October 22, 2026, to give her sister a befitting burial and to remember her in their prayers.
