Oslo: Tuesday's court session in the high-profile sex offences trial of Marius Borg H¸iby, the eldest son of Norwegian Crown Princess Mette-Marit, has been cancelled after the judge fell ill.
According to Ghana News Agency, this session in Oslo had been highly anticipated, as prosecutor Sturla Henriksb¸ was expected to continue his plea and announce the sentence he is seeking. This development will delay the proceedings.
The court stated in a press release that it hopes to resume the trial on Wednesday and conclude it as planned on Thursday. H¸iby is charged with 40 counts, including four cases of rape.
