Experienced attacking midfielder, Gladson Awako has signed a new contract with Hearts of Oak.
The highly-rated attacker signed for the Ghanaian giants from Great Olympics before the start of the 2021/22 football season.
Although would have a difficult start to life with the Phobians, he gradually picked up and is currently one of the team’s key players.
Today, Hearts of Oak have announced that the player has signed a contract extension deal that keeps him at the club until 2024.
“Gladson Awako has signed a 1-year contract extension with Accra Hearts of Oak. This will keep him at the club till 2024. The contract extension has an option to further extend his stay thereafter,” the club statement said.
Gladson Awako, 31, is currently in the camp of the Black Galaxies preparing for the 2023 CHAN tournament in Algeria.
