Ghana FA maintains George Boateng and Didi Dramani as Black Stars assistant coaches

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is all set to announce the new Black Stars technical team setup next week.

The confirmation of the new Black Stars coaches is pending an approval from the Ministry of Youth of Sports.

According to information gathered from close sources, the Ghana FA has opted to maintain Coach George Boateng and Coach Didi Dramani as the assistant coaches for the Black Stars.

The two tacticians will work under former Brighton & Hove Albion manager Chris Hughton who is set to be named the new Black Stars head coach.

For the first assignment of the new technical team, they will prepare a team for the next round of games in the qualifiers for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

In March, Ghana will take on Angola in a double-header encounter in the AFCON qualifiers.

The first leg will be played at the Cape Coast Stadium in Ghana on March 20.

Subsequently, Coach Chris Hughton and his squad will travel to Angola to honour the reverse fixture.
