GHAMRO is the most useless musical entity in Ghana – Edem roars

The Ghana Music Rights Organization has incurred the wrath of popular Ghanaian musician, Denning Edem Hotor, widely known as Edem.

Ayigbe Edem as he is affectionately called has blasted the organization over its ineffectiveness.

The experienced singer said GHAMRO is the most useless music entity in the Ghanaian music industry.

“No entity for Artiste in Ghana be useless pass “GHAMRO” on my Mama..on GOD,” he jabbed in a tweet sighted by Modernghana News.

His anger comes on the heels of the numerous complains from artistes for being given peanuts as royalties for doing music for a very long time.

Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO) was established as a royalties collection agency within Ghana, that represents the rights of music copyright holders.

The organization is currently under the leadership of seasoned musician Rex Omar, who recently claimed the organization has been working in the interest of Ghanaian musicians, unlike what is being portrayed in the public.
