Four Men Apprehended with 2,250 Parcels of Suspected Indian Hemp in KEEA


Accra: The Police at Ataabadze Axle Load Station in the Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem Municipality have successfully arrested four male suspects in possession of 2,250 parcels suspected to be Indian Hemp, commonly known as wee.



According to Ghana News Agency, the arrest was confirmed by a police source, who revealed that among the suspects is a 34-year-old driver of a Kia Rhino vehicle. The vehicle was reportedly en route from Accra to Nzema in the Western Region when the arrest occurred.



The suspects are currently held at the Elmina police station. They are assisting the police with ongoing investigations aimed at apprehending the owner of the seized parcels.
