Accra: The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has officially released the notice of poll for its 2026 presidential primaries. The Party has confirmed five aspirants as duly nominated to contest for the party’s flagbearer slot.
According to Ghana News Agency, the candidates, in their respective ballot positions, are: 1. Ken Ohene Agyapong, 2. Bryan Acheampong, 3. Mahamudu Bawumia, 4. Yaw Osei Adutwum, and 5. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong. The poll is scheduled to take place on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at all constituency centres across the country and at the party’s national headquarters between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m., as outlined by the Party’s Election Committee.
