Accra, June 1, GNA – A transformational global leadership  programme, the John C. Maxwell Equip Leadership-Beyond Success, Ghana, has been inaugurated in Accra.

Ambassador Bernard Quarm, the Country Coordinator, said the Programme through the John Maxwell Roundtable training model would use the Beyond success Handout to help raise and multiply transformational leaders across Africa, especially Ghana, with the right skill set and attitudinal change to remain relevant and competitive in their industries

He said, “in keeping with this vision and mandate we seek to recruit and train facilitators who will in turn introduce, train and drive transformation in their families, workplaces, Churches, communities and the nation at large.”

Mr Quarm said as of 2021, the Programme had trained and impacted over 80,000 leaders, including 28,132 facilitators, who were spread through the globe driving transformation in strategic sectors.

“Under the roundtable models, we have successfully completed about 13,931 and graduated 155,793 participants.”

Professor Emeritus Stephen Adei, Immediate Past Chair, National Development Planning Commission, said in Ghana political leaders have taken advantage of the porous system to act as they wish.

He said the time had come for political leaders to declare their assets publicly in order to reduce the rate of corruption in the country.

He said Ghanaians must also channel their anger for politicians positively in order to address the source of the issues and not end up erupting and causing more problems than to solve it.

“There is no doubt that the average Ghanaian and the youth are angry at politicians because of the persistent rising levels of corruption but if the anger is not directed well, it will erupt and cause more trouble than what they sort to cure,” he noted.

He urged the youth to harness their anger and be courageous to be part of a positive trend so they could deal with the malice because it did not pay to be angry.

Professor Williams Amponsah, Founder, Transformation Ghana Leadership Initiative, said Ghana had progressed to the next level of transformational leadership and envisioned the program as a hub for transformational leadership training in Ghana and other regions.

The EQUIP Leadership Beyond Success Programme is a transformational Global leadership Program, under the expertise and experience of the John Maxwell Foundation.

Mr John C. Maxwell, a number one New York Times bestselling Author, Coach and Speaker who has written more than 100 books, sold more than 26 million copies and have been translated into fifty languages.

Each year he speaks to Fortune 500 companies, presidents of nations, and many of the world’s top business leaders.
