Accra – Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall artiste Epixode is set to elevate the musical experience with a star-studded line-up for this year’s Lamajo festival. Following last year’s successful event, the festival promises an array of top Ghanaian music talents on December 2, 2023, at the Alliance Française in Accra.

According to Ghana News Agency, the festival will feature renowned artistes such as Edem, Tinny, Trigmatic, Adane Best, KK Fosu, Abiana, and Ackah Blay, among others. The event is also expected to include surprise appearances, reminiscent of last year’s festival where Stonebwoy and international reggae and dancehall stars made cameo appearances.

‘Lamajo,’ translating to ‘Sing and Let Me Dance’ in English, promises to offer attendees a diverse range of live band performances across various music genres. Epixode’s vision for the festival is to celebrate and honor African music while fostering the exchange of musical cultures on a global stage.

In an interview, Epixode shared his aspirations for the festival, emphasizing its focus on celebrating indigenous Ghanaian music and artistes. He reflected on the previous year’s event, which he described as epic, noting the surprise performance by Stonebwoy. Encouraging music lovers to attend, Epixode anticipates a festival that not only showcases exceptional talent but also brings together music enthusiasts in a celebration of African rhythm and melody.
