Accra: On August 14th, an adventurous group of fourteen individuals embarked on a unique journey from Accra, traversing lesser-known routes across Ghana. The expedition, which concluded on August 23rd, received a warm and poetic homecoming hosted by CFAO Mobility Ghana, the partner that facilitated their expedition. This remarkable journey, which began and ended with CFAO Mobility Ghana, allowed the team to reflect on their achievement and the connections made along the way.
According to Ghana Web, the expedition covered multiple regions, including Greater Accra, Volta Region, Dambai, Tamale, Wa, and Bolgatanga. The journey spanned ten days and involved twenty activities, achieving approximately 90% of the ambitious itinerary. The team engaged in various cultural activities such as fishing with local fishermen, dancing with Borborbor drummers, and interacting with dance troupes in the North. They also experienced thrilling activities like ziplining and crossing water bodies on ferries, providing a fresh perspective on Ghana's diverse landscapes.
The success of the journey was attributed to the dedication and teamwork of the Journey to the North team, comprising Principle Phonz, Manuel, Quam Godzo, Abla Vi, Leo Lyrixs, Alaba Stamp, Rashida, Rashid, and Ras Pompo. Each member contributed through hard work, patience, and adaptability, ensuring the expedition's success.
