Christians urged to live exemplary lives

Sefwi Patakro (WN/R), April 18, GNA – The Church of Pentecost has climaxed its annual Easter Convention at Juaboso in the Western North Region with an admonition to Christians to live exemplary lives to win more souls for Christ as the end time is near.

Pastor Prince Brako Okyere, the Sefwi Patakro District Pastor of the Church, who spoke on the theme: ”For Christ our Lord had been Sacrificed,” urged the faithful to live as Christ did to make the world a better place.

“This is the time that we have to worship our God well and put our trust in Him. There are many religions in the world, but we choose to be Christians, so we have no option than to live in a different way from the other religions,” he said.

He said the significance of Easter is for mankind to recognise the gift of God and give themselves up for His service.

He advised against excessive merry making during Easter saying, “This is the time that we have to worship our Lord in earnest, put our trust in Him and do away with all forms of sins to show we love Him.”

He said Christians must demonstrate their faith by loving one another as Jesus Christ loved the Church based on which He died to save mankind.
