Sekondi: The Ghanaian Child has been advised to adopt honesty and ethical living as essential tools for a decent life and the advancement of society. This guidance was imparted during an engagement session with schoolchildren at the Sekondi Presbyterian School.
According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Victor K. Brobbey, Esq., a distinguished Ghanaian legal academic, consultant, and the Deputy Chairman of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), emphasized the importance of acting in the collective interest of the nation and avoiding behaviors that could hinder both personal and national growth. This session was part of broader activities organized by the Commission to commemorate this year's Constitution Week.
The Constitution Week Celebration provides a platform for the Commission to interact with various societal groups, educating them about constitutional provisions, rights, responsibilities, and their civic duties as Ghanaian citizens. Mr. Brobbey encouraged the children to be more patriotic, reminding them that they would be the future leaders in twenty years. He urged them to care for one another and aspire to become professionals contributing significantly to the country's progress. Mr. Brobbey also committed to occasionally visiting the school to teach and mentor the students, aiming to build a stronger workforce for the nation.
