According to Ghana Web, the 33-year-old Martinez, who played a pivotal role in Argentina's World Cup victory in 2022, has agreed to a three-year contract with Chelsea. Martinez, who previously played for Arsenal, joined Aston Villa in 2020 and made 256 appearances, notably contributing to Villa's Europa League triumph last season.
