London, Chelsea midfielder N’golo Kante will be out of action for around three weeks because of a hamstring injury.
The Frenchman suffered the injury on international duty and Chelsea manager Antonio Conte said Friday he will be hard to replace.
“We are going to do a scan next week to check his situation and if he is improving,” said Conte, who added Kante would be out for 20-25 days.
“It is a hamstring problem. A big loss for us. You know the importance of him in our team. We don’t have a similar player with the same characteristics. Now we have Tiemoue Bakayoko and Cesc Fabregas. We have to find different solutions.”
Striker Alvaro Morata will also miss the weekend match at bottom side Crystal Palace but Conte said he should be fit for next week’s Champions League clash against Roma.
