Kumasi Asante Kotoko have announced changes to their 2022/23 kits, including the removal of the image of Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
The Porcupine Warriors honoured their king by emblazoning his image on their uniforms, but this decision drew criticism.
They were forced to remove the image from the kits they will be wearing next season.
“We have amended our 2022/23 Kits after further considerations in collaboration with Errea,” Kotoko announced on Twitter on Thursday.
The new kits don’t have Otumfuo’s image.
