Philadelphia: Carlos Queiroz has declared that the World Cup's real challenge begins in the knockout stages, as Ghana prepares to face Colombia in the Round of 32 after securing third place in Group L.

According to Ghana Web, the Croatia national football team edged out the Ghana national football team with a 2-1 victory in Philadelphia, a result that propelled both teams into the knockout phase, albeit on divergent paths. Queiroz, reflecting on the outcome, remarked, "I have just told my players that the real world championship starts in the next round."

The Ghana coach emphasized the significance of the upcoming matches, stating, "The group stage is the warming-up and qualification for the next round is like a credit card but now you have to start paying. Everything goes to the winner, every game is drama, nobody can hide."
