Boxer Joseph Agbeko to be celebrated at Accra International Conference Centre

Ghanaian boxer Joseph Agbeko is to be honoured for his contribution to boxing in Ghana and Africa as a whole on Saturday 19 at the Accra International Conference Centre.

The organization honouring Joseph Agbeko also known as “King Kong” feels he is worth celebrating after winning a lot of tournaments for his country Ghana.

“It’s going to be a night of glitz and Glamour with good music and lots of wine and dine as we celebrate a living legend, Joseph Agbeko,” the organization said.

Joseph Agbeko expressed his joy to the organisers about how happy he is be honoured come Saturday. There will be a special performance from Mr Drew, Kofi Kinata and many more.

Joseph Agbeko has won a lot of local and international fights. Some of his awards include the WBO Africa bantamweight title, IBO bantamweight title, IBF bantamweight title, Commonwealth bantamweight title among others.

He has had 38 wins with 28 knockouts and 10 by decision. He has however lost 5. Joseph Agbeko was enstooled as a warrior chief, in the Volta Region.
