Black Stars begin preparations for final Group H meeting with Uruguay

The Black Stars of Ghana returned to training today after beating South Korea 3-2 on Monday afternoon.

The Ghana national team yesterday locked horns with their South Korean counterpart in a second Group H match of the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Before that game, the Black Stars had lost the opening group game to Portugal after a pulsating contest last Thursday, November 24.

In the game against South Korea, Ghana put up a fantastic performance and cruised to the important win thanks to a brace from Mohammed Kudus and a strike from defender Mohammed Salisu.

With just three days to prepare for the final Group H match against Uruguay, the Black Stars have today trained at their base to prepare for the challenge that awaits the team.

Currently, on three points in the Group standings, the Black Stars need to avoid a defeat to stand any chance of progressing to the knockout stage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Below are some shots from the team’s training grounds today.
