Bechem United: Our game plan was perfectly executed – Bismark Koby Mensah lauds players after draw against Bechem United

Karela United coach, Bismark Koby Mensah has hailed the performance of his players after securing a vital point against Bechem United in week 26.

The ‘Pride and Passion’ were hosted at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park on Monday in the matchday 26 games.

Midfielder Umar Bashiru opened the scoring account in the early stages of the second half before Augustine Okrah equalised on the 76th minute, with the away team trailing down a man two minutes prior.

Speaking after the game, the ex-Samartex gaffer, has heaped praises on his players for sticking to their game plan and also securing that crucial point but disagreed with the referee on the red card incident.

“I’m very happy for my boys, they worked hard. I told you, the tactical approach is there but it takes players to work so hard for it to happen or work and our plan worked so I give credit to the players,” he said.

“Tactically we came with a game plan but is just unfortunate and I don’t think that was a read card because we saw him, he slipped, wasn’t careless and wasn’t a foul play so is just unfortunate. The boys have done well,” he added.

The stalemate leave Karela United at the 8th position on the league log with 37 points.
