In addition to economic reforms, Dr. Bawumia outlined his intentions to replicate the District Road Improvement Programme in agriculture through the District Agric Mechanisation System, which would provide farm equipment to local farmers. He also proposed a nationwide irrigation project, leveraging the Volta River to enhance crop production.
