Attacker Victorien Adebayor eager to start loan stint with Legon Cities

Legon Cities FC’s new signing, Victorien Adebayor has indicated that he is anxious to start playing for the club following his official unveiling on Friday afternoon.

The Ghanaian club after successful talks with Danish outfit HB Koge has secured the services of the Nigerian forward on loan for the rest of the season.

Having arrived at the Kotoko International Airport on Friday morning, Victorien Adebayor has subsequently been unveiled this afternoon.

Speaking in his first interview, the forward says he is delighted with the dream move and cannot wait to get started.

“I am very excited to join Legon Cities. It’s a dream come true. I can’t wait to get started.

“I have been received well since my arrival and I must say I am very grateful,” Victorien Adebayor said at his unveiling on Friday.

With a lot of experience in the Ghana Premier League already, the former Inter Allies FC poster boy will have a big role to play for Legon Cities FC in the second round of the 2020/2021 season.
