Asante Kotoko did not deserve the point – Yaw Preko left unhappy after Great Olympics’ stalemate

Accra Great Olympics coach, Yaw Preko has expressed his disappointment following his side’s draw with Asante Kotoko on Sunday.

The two-time Ghana Premier League champions were hosted at the Baba Yara Stadium in the matchday 11 games by the Porcupine Warriors.

After scoring very early in the second half of the contest, Olympics looked set to pick a win as the team dominated the game.

However, in the 90th minute, Kotoko scored to force the match to end in a 1-1 draw.

Speaking in his post-match interview, Yaw Preko said the Porcupine Warriors did not deserve to earn a point.

“This is a shadow Asante Kotoko and we should not be satisfied. This feels like a defeat to me.

“This job is unbelievable because Asante Kotoko does not deserve the point,” Coach Yaw Preko said.

Great Olympics sit at the 11th position with 15 points following the stalemate.
