Accra: Angel Asiamah, the husband of Patricia Asiedua, widely recognized as Nana Agradaa, has revealed a specially designed T-shirt in anticipation of his wife's upcoming release from prison. This announcement follows the confirmation of her release date by her legal representative.
According to Ghana Web, during a church gathering held on Sunday, March 1, 2026, Angel Asiamah introduced the T-shirt, which is intended for fans and supporters to wear in celebration of Nana Agradaa's return. The T-shirt, available in various colors, prominently features a white, round-neck design that displays an image of Nana Agradaa along with the phrase 'Pray Every Day' accompanied by a prayer emoji.
Nana Agradaa, who founded the Heaven Way Champion International Ministry, was initially sentenced to 15 years in prison on July 3, 2025, by the Amasaman High Court. She was found guilty of fraud by false pretence and charlatanic advertising. Following an appeal, her sentence was reduced on February 5, 2026, to 12 months, taking into account the time she had already served.
In an interview with Channel One TV, her lawyer, Richard Asare Baffour, confirmed that Nana Agradaa is scheduled to be released on March 3, 2026. He clarified that her early release is part of a standard remission policy for Ghanaian prisoners, which permits convicts to be freed after serving two-thirds of their sentence, and is not due to any special treatment.
