Amanfoso: The discovery of a nearly decomposed body of a farmer has thrown the Amanfoso community, near Nsoatre in the Sunyani West Municipality, into a state of shock.
According to Ghana Web, Madam Attaa Adwoa, the Assembly Member of the Amanfoso Electoral Area, stated that some residents found the body of Kabore Abuu lying prostrate on a mango farm on Sunday, February 1, 2026. She noted the incident was alarming, marking the fifth occurrence of such an event in the area, and called for urgent police investigations.
In another interview, Hamza Zakaria, a member of the bereaved family, mentioned that the deceased left home for the farm on January 26, 2026, and unfortunately did not return. He reported that the police have since retrieved the body and have deposited it at the Berekum Holy Family Catholic Hospital for preservation and autopsy as investigations continue.
