Aidoo Urges Government Action on Police Station Conditions in Kpone-Katamanso

Kpone-Katamanso:The aspiring independent parliamentary candidate for the Kpone-Katamanso Constituency, Abraham Aidoo, has highlighted pressing issues concerning the working conditions at the Katamanso police station and urged the government to intervene promptly.

According to Ghana Web, Aidoo expressed his concerns following a tour of public facilities in the constituency. He reported that the Katamanso Police Command is operating under suboptimal conditions that hinder the effective performance of police duties.

Aidoo noted that the top floor of the police facility remains unfinished and lacks essential amenities like a toilet. Officers are compelled to navigate through dusty areas to reach their offices, which exposes them to potential health risks. Aidoo emphasized the importance of a safe and healthy working environment for police personnel, who, like all workers, need to maintain their health for themselves and their families.

He further expressed worries about the poor state of roads in the constituency, which could impede emergency response capabilities. Deteriorated roads, he pointed out, may prevent even motorcycles from accessing certain areas, complicating quick responses to emergencies.

To address these challenges, Aidoo called on the government and relevant authorities to urgently improve the infrastructure at the Katamanso Police Command and enhance the road network within the constituency. He believes that such improvements would enable the police to fulfill their duties more efficiently and better serve the residents of the Kpone-Katamanso Constituency.
