Accra: The Ahomu Maanle Diasporan Association in the Ellembelle District has donated medical equipment to the Asasetre Health Centre to enhance healthcare delivery at the facility. The items include two thermometer beds, a scale and height checker, two bed sheets, two trolleys, two sugar test needles, and a glucometer, among others.

According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Isaac Kabenla, who presented the items on behalf of the Association, emphasized the group's commitment to contributing to the rapid socio-economic development of the area. He urged parents to encourage their children to pursue higher education rather than engage in galamsey and other irresponsible behaviors.

Mr. Stephen Elievi Quaicoe, representing the Chairman of the Association, called on Nzemas within the Akomu area to join the Association and contribute towards the development of the area. He highlighted the Ahomu Maanle Diasporan Unification Project, which aims to spearhead socio-economic development from Nkroful to Tandan, Akropong, and beyond.

Mr. Ibrahim Issah, a Physician Assistant at the Clinic, expressed gratitude to the donors and noted that the growing patient numbers at the facility necessitated more equipment to meet healthcare needs. He assured the Association that the medical team would deliver quality healthcare and strive to make the Clinic one of the best in the enclave.
