Afua Asantewaa calls on IGP

Guinness World Record (GWR) attemptee and tourism ambassador, Afua Asantewaa O. Aduonum (Singathon), has paid a courtesy call on the Inspector General of Police (IGP), George Dampare, at the Police headquarters in Accra.

The official visit, according to Afua Asantewaa, was to express her profound gratitude to the police boss for his immense support during the record-breaking attempt at the Akwaaba Village in Accra.

She told the IGP, “My team and I are eternally grateful for the massive support during the attempt. Their heavy presence at the venue went a long way in ensuring that peace prevailed.”

“We are here today to say we are indeed grateful, and if I decide to go again, we won’t hesitate to call on you again for your blessings and support. Thank you.”

The police boss commended Afua Asantewaa highly for her high sense of tenacity.

He gave her the assurance that his outfit would continue to rally support for her if she considers a second record attempt.

Also present for the high-profile visit was busi
