According to Ghana Web, A-Plus took to Facebook to address the resident's request, labeling the man a "stupid man" and a "fool" for his manner of appeal. The MP acknowledged the resident's right to voice concerns but criticized the approach, questioning if he was expected to stop the rainfall himself. A-Plus highlighted a broader issue faced by authorities, referencing resistance to removing structures obstructing waterways, which exacerbates flooding problems.
A-Plus cited a recent incident in Kumasi where a woman cursed the city's mayor following the demolition of buildings on waterways.
