Accra:Some 400 residents recently participated in a free health screening event organized by StarLife Assurance in Accra and Kumasi. This initiative was part of the company's Customer Service Week activities.
According to Ghana News Agency, the health screening was conducted at the Office of the Head of the Civil Service in Accra and the Kumasi Central Prison in October. The event aimed to promote health, wellness, and community development, which are core commitments of StarLife Assurance.
The screening included tests for blood pressure, malaria, blood sugar, and eye health, aiming to help participants understand their health status and identify potential issues requiring further medical evaluation. StarLife Assurance collaborated with medical officers from Grace Anchor Medical Centre in Accra and Prima Medical Centre in Kumasi for the event.
Mr. Edwina Holm-Nortey, Supervisor of Customer Experience and Digital Operations at StarLife Assurance, emphasized the company's dedication to customer service by supporting the health and well-being of clients. He highlighted the company's intent to make a positive impact beyond its core life insurance services through health-focused community engagement.
Mr. Holm-Nortey expressed gratitude to Grace Anchor Medical Centre, Prima Medical Centre, and other partners for their support in the exercise. StarLife Assurance reiterated its commitment to building stronger relationships with clients and supporting healthier communities by promoting health awareness, disease prevention, and overall well-being.
