Keta:Mr. Kwame Dzudzorli Gakpey, the Member of Parliament for Keta Constituency in the Volta Region, has extended his congratulations to the newly elected executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the constituency following the party's recent internal elections.
According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Gakpey also acknowledged the efforts of those aspirants who were not successful in the elections, urging them to stay committed to the party and continue contributing to its growth and development.
In his congratulatory message, Mr. Gakpey emphasized that the victory of the elected executives carries with it the responsibility to serve with dedication and a strong commitment to the party's progress. He highlighted the importance of unity, urging all contestants and their supporters to rally behind the new leadership and work collectively towards the party's objectives.
The election results saw Mr. Jeff Amekuiedi elected as Constituency Chairman, while other key positions were filled by Mr. Felix Amegbor as Vice Chairman, Mr. Dan Sosoo as Treasurer, and Mr. Doe Tornyo as Communications Officer, among others. The newly elected executives have pledged to work diligently to strengthen and reposition the party.
Mr. Gakpey expressed optimism that a united NDC would be better positioned to strengthen its structures and mobilize supporters for the development of the Keta Constituency.
