Appiah Stadium Urges Asamoah Gyan to Run for GFA Presidency

Accra:Football commentator Appiah Stadium has called on former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan to consider running for the presidency of the Ghana Football Association (GFA). He emphasized that Gyan could play a pivotal role in addressing the challenges currently facing Ghana football.

According to Ghana Web, Appiah Stadium criticized the current GFA president Kurt Okraku and his vice, accusing them of harming the country's football. He expressed that Asamoah Gyan, with his widespread public support, has the necessary influence and popularity to bring about positive changes in the administration of Ghana football.

Appiah Stadium further argued that Gyan's grace in football surpasses even political figures like Mahama and Bawumia, urging Gyan to step in and rescue Ghana football. He also expressed skepticism about promoting another candidate to succeed Okraku, suggesting that retaining Okraku might be better unless Gyan decides to enter the race.

He concluded by appealing to Gyan to reconsider his stance and run for the GFA presidency to help revitalize Ghana football.
