Accra:A 23-year-old woman has reportedly passed away after experiencing an electric shock from a sex toy that allegedly exploded.
According to Ghana Web, neighbours of the unidentified woman claimed they heard a loud explosion from her room before finding her in critical condition. It was reported that the device was still connected to a wall socket when they discovered her.
The woman, who was not in a romantic relationship at the time, had been using sex toys for a while. Reports suggest that she decided to purchase and try an electrically powered vibrator for the first time, which allegedly led to the tragic incident.
Her neighbours reportedly heard her moaning while using the device, followed by the sound of a loud explosion. Rushing to her room, they found her lying in a pool of blood, with injuries reportedly around her private parts. Despite being taken to the hospital for treatment, she died two days later. The exact details of the explosion and the cause of her death remain unclear.
