NRSA Praises Sunyani Inner Ring Road Project as Economic Opportunities Grow

Sunyani:The National Road Safety Authority (NRSA) in the Bono Region has commended the quality of asphalt work on the Sunyani-Inner Ring Road Project. The project is part of the government’s “Big Push” Road Infrastructure programme and is being executed by Kofi Job Constructions Limited.

According to Ghana Web, Gabriel Kwame Okyere, the Public Relations Officer of the NRSA in the region, highlighted the issue of reckless riding by tricycle riders on the newly asphalted road. He urged these riders to exercise caution to prevent accidents.

The 9.2-kilometre road project begins at the Fiapre Roundabout and connects to the Sunyani Technical University. Okyere noted that the 'Big Push' initiative has significantly contributed to the opening of the Sunyani Municipality for economic growth, with small-scale businesses emerging alongside the road, thus providing economic opportunities for local residents.

Kofi Kamkam, the site engineer for Kofi Job Constructions, reported that 2.5 kilometres of the road have been completed and made available for public use. He assured that the project is on track to be finished within the agreed two-year timeline.
